Exclusions

• Image and Video Support: The initial focus will be on text-based documents. Images and videos containing PII would require additional development and can be incorporated later.

• Highly Specialised Formats: Support for uncommon or industry-specific file formats might be deferred to later phases.

• Native Language Redaction: While the system will detect a wide range of PII patterns, in-depth redaction and replacement within multiple languages may be a focus for subsequent development.

• Customisation of Redaction Appearance: Initially, the redacted areas will have a standard appearance (e.g., black bars). Customisable redaction methods (e.g., pixelation, replacement with placeholder text) could be a feature for later releases.

• Real-time Document Collaboration: Enabling real-time redaction tracking across multiple users might be too complex for the initial release scope.
