Exclusions

1. Large Number of Files

Handling and processing of large volumes of files will not be included in the POC. The POC will focus on a limited number of files to validate the core functionalities.

2. Large Files

File Size Limitations: Processing of large files (files that are significantly larger than average) will not be included in the POC. The POC will handle files of moderate size to ensure the core functionalities are validated.

3. Scalability

Scalability features, such as the ability to handle increasing data volumes and dynamic scaling of resources, will not be developed in the POC. The POC will operate on a fixed, small-scale setup.

4. Logging and Monitoring

Comprehensive logging and monitoring tools, such as Azure Monitor or Amazon CloudWatch, will not be included in the POC. Basic logging for debugging purposes may be implemented, but advanced monitoring and alerting features will be excluded.

5. Download Management

Secure download management, including secure download links and access control for processed files, will not be part of the POC. Downloading of processed files will be handled through simple, direct methods.

6. Data Compression

Data compression features, such as using efficient algorithms to reduce file sizes for storage and download, will not be included in the POC. Files will be stored and transferred in their original formats.

7. Backup and Recovery

Regular backups and a disaster recovery plan will not be developed in the POC. Data integrity and recovery will be handled through simple, manual methods if needed.

8. Cost Estimation

The cost estimation mechanisms to provide users with processing cost estimates before operations commence will not be part of the POC. Cost considerations will be manually assessed and not automated.

9. Regional Specific Data Compliance

Ensuring compliance with region-specific data protection regulations will not be included in the POC. The focus will be on general data security and compliance practices. This is, however, a consideration for production.

10. Distributed System

The implementation of a distributed system architecture will not be part of the POC. The POC will use a centralised approach to validate the core functionalities.

11. Single Sign-On (SSO)

Integration of an SSO for user authentication and authorisation will not be included in the POC. User access will be managed through simpler authentication methods.
